Beach Day // Beverly Cove, MA

Have Heart @ The Palladium // Worcester, MA

Summer Night Jams // Byfield, MA

Exploring Downtown // Boston, MA

Jimmy and I spent 4th of July weekend in Massachusetts. One of his favorite bands was playing a reunion show, so we decided to make a little vacation out of it; we stayed and spent quality time with his sweet fam, celebrated the 4th with his cousins, hung out with one of his kindest friends, saw Have Heart put on a killer show, and explored the city (…that I may want to call “home” some day). It was an extremely pleasant trip that we used to reconnect, reflect, and appreciate life.
I wanted to share some of the photos I took on a disposable camera. Have Heart and their music is super nostalgic and important to Jimmy, so I thought film photos would be a good way to capture raw moments in a sentimental way; these pictures turned out better than I hoped for and really encapsulate the vintage summer vibe I wanted.
This trip allowed me to slow down and step out of my everyday routine, and it put a lot of things into perspective. I’m learning to take more pictures of moments rather than poses, to spend a quick minute appreciating exactly where I am and where I’ve been, to be more intentional with my actions and words. Every day is a new opportunity to make progress towards something, and I’m trying to become a better version of myself.
Now, go take a trip with purpose! Reconnect with yourself; do things that mean something to you; express your love and appreciation for your support system. Break out of your routine, even for a day, and live it with more intention.
Awesome post! Keep up the great work! 🙂
